About me
I am Natalie, a Nutritional Therapist specialising in Sport and Exercise Nutrition.
I work with busy, active adults whose fitness goals are being held back by underlying health issues such as low or unstable energy, digestive problems, poor recovery, recurring injuries, or hormonal changes including perimenopause.
Many of the people I support are already training consistently and doing their best to look after their health. What they often need is not more effort, but a clearer understanding of what is happening in their body and how to support it properly.
My work focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors that affect energy, recovery, and adaptation to training. By optimising health, I help clients move towards their fitness goals in a more stable, resilient place.
I am trauma informed and nervous system aware, and I regularly work with neurodivergent clients. This means nutrition plans are realistic, flexible, and designed to work with real lives rather than ideal routines.
How I work
I offer both one to one nutritional therapy consultations and structured programmes, depending on the level of support you need.
Some clients come to me for targeted support around a specific issue. Others benefit from longer term guidance to address more complex health patterns and support training progression over time.
Whether we work together short term or longer term, my approach is always personalised, evidence based, and rooted in nutritional therapy.
My approach
I take a root cause approach to sport and exercise nutrition. This means looking beyond symptoms and considering how different systems in the body interact, including digestion, hormones, energy regulation, stress, and recovery.
Our work together may include;
A detailed assessment of health history, symptoms, training load, and lifestyle
A review of current nutrition and fuelling strategies
Support with macronutrient balance and timing around training
Food first strategies to support digestion, energy, and recovery
Targeted supplementation where appropriate
Lifestyle and recovery support including sleep and stress regulation
Functional testing where useful to individualise recommendations
The aim is not to impose a rigid plan, but to build a nutrition and lifestyle strategy that supports your health while allowing you to train consistently and progress towards your goals.
Who this work is for
This work is suited to you if you are active and motivated, but feel that something is holding you back. You may be dealing with fatigue, poor recovery, gut issues, hormonal changes, or a sense that your body is no longer responding to training in the way it used to.
Together, we focus on optimising health so performance and everyday life can improve without burnout.
